Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my website.
My vision for Pickering is for it to become a thriving community that will attract more small businesses and corporations to start or expand their business, ultimately resulting in job creation and added services for residents. In addition, I would like to build upon affordable and accessible facilities, while maintaining and protecting the City's natural heritage and rural composition. Youth in our community play a valuable part in shaping a safe and healthy community, and strives to foster a supportive, inclusive environment where youth can collaborate, learn, and engage with one another and City staff.
There is a lot to be proud of in the City of Pickering. With Durham Live and the downtown revitalization, our city will be one of a kind and I look forward to seeing this vision come to life.
Along with Council and city staff, I have been working to attract businesses into the city, to create more jobs and better opportunities for our youth. I look forward to the renovation of the Pickering Recreation Complex and the addition of an arts and culture centre. We are making accommodations to keep seniors active and engaged in our community. These developments will allow our residents to stay connected within the city for all their needs.
My top priority is to keep property taxes low. I look for ways to improve traffic flow and keep the city clean and safe. I strive to connect with our residents at every opportunity and want them to be proud to say that they live in the City of Pickering.
Please let me know ideas/suggestions/changes for Pickering, Ward 3 that you'd like to share. Sharing ideas strengthens them!
